LXCID: THE STORY
LXCID is a Malaysian alternative indie rock band, formed as a passion project which soon carved a pathway into something potentially bigger. As it is also pronounced, the term lucid dream also creates inspiration and motives for their songwriting choices. The group has itself in a constant daze towards reaching new heights and possibilities with their music as a medium that reaches the hearts of fans.
Inheriting love from grunge music to post-rock, the group gathers much significance in their sound towards bands such as No Party For Cao Dong, Arctic Monkeys, Pierce The Veil, and My Chemical Romance. The members of the band quickly forged their own distinct identities into a common blend that would be known as LXCID.

MILO LEONG
Lead Vocalist / Rhythm Guitarist
I started out learning how to play Coldplay songs on my guitar that I got as a gift. In retrospect, it was probably the most vanilla phase of my musical journey but hey we all start from somewhere. From then on, I couldn't stop writing my own songs. I started performing in college events and open mics. Released a few singles and made covers on SoundCloud and Instagram. I would then get more into the hard rock and metal genre and that's where I joined alternative rock band Lxcid.
JONATHAN ELISHA
Lead Guitarist
Hi! I’m Jon, I’m brown, and that is the only reason I’m in this band. I’m also a producer, live mixing engineer, and music student, but that doesn’t matter. I’ve been playing the same blue guitar since I was 13 as I started playing in a church called World Harvest. I like pedals and buy them to compensate for guitar skills, and I also like stepping on Dom’s tuner pedal to cut his signal off during live shows. I’m really glad to be a part of Lxcid and can’t wait to show you guys what we’ve got in store! Stay tuned.

I'm Dom. A 22-year-old with a fragile heart and I often need to cry on my drummer's shoulder. I've been playing bass for about six years now and I love it. Also because I was never good enough to play the guitar. I like long walks on the beach and making Maggi in my microwave. I'm a total band whore, be sure to check out Merakki at @merakki_band on Instagram. I feel grateful to be part of this band, but I usually want to choke the lights out of Adam cause he's a dumbass.
DOUGLAS LIEW
Drummer
The name's Doug and I frequently have wet shoulders for my bassist to cry on. I'm a color blind parkour coach that happens to play drums, and I hate vegetables and spicy food. Been playing drums since 2017 and killed a fly with my eye in 2019. Unlike the rest of these losers, I've got a cool drummer uniform for every show that we've played. I'm a stage whore that likes to come to the front of the stage during silent parts of a song. Constantly blocked by Adam for every gig picture. Show your drummer some love.
